200 and 300 TDI Diesel engines

Many 200 and 300 series diesels come into our workshop performing well below potential. We achieve excellent results by retuning them to factory specifications as follows:

• Change air filter
• Clean debris & gunk from intercooler fins
• Ensure the turbo is boosting to full pressure
• Adjustment the fuel injection pump
• Clean the injectors & check for correct spray pattern

• These checks & adjustments not only boost power, but also ensure optimum exhaust temperature is not exceeded, minimising smoking.

tIn the performance graph below, the lower line is the "first run" prior to tuning. The upper line shows the power achieved using the dynamometer as a measurement tool by the Graeme Cooper engineers.
